The Spark That Shall Never Die

This night
Let me imagine
That there is not
Throughout the expanse
Of being and naught
Only He and I--

For is it truly not so?
In heavens and earth
Who other than He
Knows the loneliness of my path?

This one night
Allow my fantasy
That death
I will not see--

And truly it is so:
The spark that He did blow
Into my life-flame
For all eternity will glow

There is a Light
great and bright
to warm us in the night.

There is a Light
Drawn down from great height,
spreading colors of
shades of white,
each one a ray of sight,
might,
concentrated tight.

We argue over our blight,
blinded from insight
into the Light

derived from our Maker
Who sits out of sight
from all those whose day is
night.

Where's the Hebew part?
Isn't it a song sung to the eternity within us?
